Garcinia Cambogia Scams 2015: Dr. OZ Exposed

It all started a couple of years ago when Dr. OZ announced live on his show that he had a new miracle sure for being overweight.  He claimed that a little known fruit from Indonesia contained a miracle ingredient that can prevent the body from forming fat cells, and even melt the fat that was on your body.

Dr. OZ backed up his findings with scientific studies that in fact did prove that people lost weight while taking Garcinia Cambogia.

The fat busting ingredient in the garcinia cambogia fruit is an all natural chemical called Hydroxy Citric Acid.  Citric acid is contained in all fruits, but this special string called Hydroxycitric acid is special and proprietary to the garcinia fruit.

After Dr. Oz reported about HCA to his 2 million viewers, the internet went kaboom and it started a buying frenzy that still exists today.  Dr. OZ has been under fire for manipulating the online consumer health and fitness market because of his status and viewership…

The Truth

Here is the truth about all of this.  This is just my opinion as I am not a medical professional but I have been in the industry for quite some time.  This may be pretty harsh but in my opinion consumers are idiots.  I am including myself in this as well because even I fall prey to it from time to time when I see something on TV or read something online.

The truth is, there is absolutely no miracle cure for weight loss.  In order to lose weight a person must burn more calories than they eat on a daily basis.  Exercise, diet, and hard work is how a person loses weight.

Best Diet For Fast Weight Loss

We have been getting flooded with emails the first couple months of this year and the same question keeps coming up…what is the best diet for 2016 and how can I lose weight fast?  This is a tough question to answer because there is no cookie cutter diet that works for everyone.  I will do my best to explain here…

I have personally lost over 80 pounds.  It took me around 9 months to lose the weight, and it was a very slow process.  The best way to lose weight in my opinion is slow and steady.  Crash diets simply do not work for most people.  Yes, you can and will lose weight in the short term, but most of the time crash diets lead to binge eating and weight gain.

Here is where things really get interesting…The formula that I came up with that helped me lose all of my weight was Crash 6 Days Binge 1 Day and Repeat.  Most people have diets that include cheat meals or cheat days, well, I call them binge days, because thats exactly what they were.  I realized that I could only diet for about 6 days anyways, so I decided to let that work to my advantage.  What I did was follow an extreme low carb low fat high protein diet for 6 days straight ,no cheating.  Then every 7th day I would take a day off and binge.  I would eat cookies, pizza, candy, chocolate, everything I craved during the week I saved for my binge day.  Every time during my week of low calorie eating if I had a craving I would just tell myself, I can wait a few days.

This process of crash diet + binging allowed me to lose over 80 pounds in 9 months.  Now, if I would have done a low calorie diet without binging, I would have gotten their a lot faster, but binging let me maintain my sanity, and helped me get into the best shape of my life while using my weakness against me.

During the week to help with cravings I took Garcinia Cambogia, and it really helped with craving control.  I know there is a lot of hype surrounding it, but for me, it worked!
